| Cormack Innovation Awards Launch 9th Year With New Branding |

Cormack Innovation Awards have launched their 2010 program with the introduction of a new logo and message- Smart Minds, Practical Solutions.
A collaboration of the Cormack Packaging Marketing and Design departments, the logo is a refreshed and minimalistic design to embody the fundamental values of the Cormack Innovation Awards program whilst maintaining a strong connection to Cormack Packaging who have supported the ‘one of a kind' program for the last nine years. In launching the new design and program, Hayley Lia Product and Brand Strategy Manager said, "We felt that there was a missing connection between the branding and the program itself. It was important when addressing the re-design that we took the time to understand and interpret what would really resonate with the students and reflect the core values of the both the program itself and of Cormack Packaging. The end result is a strong and clear message that will remain current for a number of years going forward." Ms. Lia also pointed to the input of the past winners as a key factor to creating a successful design. "Both Tim Bird (2001) and Damien Azzopardi (2008) were heavily involved in the re-design project, their contribution to the styling and final design reflects how the Cormack Innovation Awards creates a connection within the student design environment". With an expected participation of over 150 students from across Australia, the 2010 Awards program continues to transform itself into a leading student design competition in Australia.
